Requesting a Book

Nice One,can we could meet up sometime so that I can borrow your "Year of Meats?"

I am enjoying that I can post things with pictures ... this entry is purely for the satisfaction that comes with that.

If I still have it, it's yours. I don't know that I do, though. I may have lended it out. . .to you.

OH! And I'm finished Theif of Time (so good, love the Pratchett) and nearly done Dictee.

Got any suggestions? I want something fun again. Not necessarily funny, but not heady or heavy. (but still good, y'know?) Hey, got any John Irving to lend?

No John Irving. I've actually never read him. I'm big into poetry again ... maybe 'still' is a better word.

I'm reading Anne Carson (or trying to read) "The Autobiography of Red." I love it. It makes me happy and it calms down the rawness in me lately. Is it too depressing to say, it's the only thing that makes me not unhappy?

Love the Pratchett. I have all the in the 'Guards' series if you're interested. I have some fun books but am not sure what you're in the mood for.
